Rebecca Marler
Becky Marler is a lifelong resident of Odessa and has worked more than 30 years in the nursing profession. Becky has proudly served on the Board of Directors for First Basin Credit Union since 2013. Becky and her husband, Shane, own PointForward Inc., a technology management, design, consultation, and programming service for the oil and gas industry. Becky and Shane have two daughters and are avid, although average, pickleball players
Wesley Burnett
Wes Burnett is a long-time resident of Odessa, a graduate of UT Permian Basin and works as the Director of Business Development for REXtac in Odessa. In addition to his Business Development work, Wes has had a career in Community Relations and Economic Development for more than 30 years. Wes has been a First Basin board member since 2020 and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Odessa Chamber of Commerce and Odessa College Foundation as well as the President’s Advisory Council at UT Permian Basin. Wes and his wife Melisa have been married for 35 years and have two children, Caleb and Cayli.
Nominations will not be taken from the floor.
If you are interested in submitting an additional name for consideration, you must (1.) Request a formal petition (2.) Collect 273 signatures from eligible voters and (3.) Submit the petition request along with signatures to First Basin Credit Union by Monday, January 27, 2025. The election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled.
