First Basin Credit Union Partners with Rainbow Room for School Supply Drive

ODESSA, TX – First Basin Credit Union in conjunction with its members have taken the lead to help area CPS children and the Rainbow Room by donating 100 backpacks to be filled with donations. These backpacks and donations will go to children involved in CPS care throughout Midland, Odessa, Andrews and  Monahans.

The supplies donated will help provide children in need with the tools required to be successful in school as well as the confidence that they are capable to achieve. All of First Basin’s branches held a school supply drive in the summer months that will end in August.

About the Rainbow Room: The Rainbow Room in the Permian Basin serves children involved in CPS care by providing immediate needs when a removal from the child’s home occurs or if the child is placed in a temporary placement while waiting to be assigned to foster care. They also help families trying to stay together by providing needs such as car seats, baby supplies, and pack n plays.
